MILK is an immersive experience of hedonism and freedom. We aim to provide a ‘Fetish-Lite’ experience for those guests who may not yet feel ready or confident enough to go to a more mainstream night like Torture Garden or Crossbreed. Established in 2016 and held at some of east London’s quirkiest venues (Paper Dress Vintage, MOTH Club and The Kings Head Members Club), we are passionate about bringing our audiences the best in neo-burlesque with a fetish twist. Across every event we work hard to promote diversity, body positivity and an atmosphere of welcome and acceptance. In the past six years we have grown from a small, experimental night to a larger-scale yet still friendly and intimate event. In this time, many of the biggest names in the industry have graced our stage, including several Burlesque Idol winners and 20th Century Burlesque Top 50. International burlesque stars Cleopantha, Miss Sugar Rush, Jada Love, Romeo de La Cruz, Onyx Fatale, Mx Cyanide, Lou Safire, Smashlyn Monroe, Mouse and Naomi Wood are just some of our regular MILK performers. Our DJs set a retro vibe with disco, electro, northern soul and vintage 60s/70s/80s, with go-go dancers creating a fun and vibrant atmosphere. Hosts Victoria Kember and Verity Lewis bring their own brand of debauchery and decadence to the night, with Victoria doubling as The Naked DJ, which is exactly as it sounds! We encourage people to dress up, express themselves and dance - most importantly we want our guests to feel comfortable and have fun! All our acts are burlesque with a splash of fetish. The founders, producers and hosts of MILK are Victoria Kember and Verity Lewis. Victoria graduated in Alternative Theatre, before taking her debut show 'Where Have All The Ladies Gone?' to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2010, described by one critic as "a rare gem, a miniature tour de force". Sometime burlesque performer Verity Lewis is a graduate of Little Lady Luscious. She has run events alongside Victoria since 2013 and performed and stage managed at many of London’s most prominent cabaret venues. Natasha Barrow is the regular stage manager for MILK, drawing from her vast experience of stage managing many London cabaret shows. Award-winning comedian, burlesque artiste and long-time friend of Verity & Victoria, Sikisa Bostwick-Barnes performs as a resident at MILK.
