Kirsten Vaams Latex Couture
Prague-based latex fashion brand is dedicated to all fashionistas. Specialized in daily wear, Kirsten Vaams wants to bring latex to the streets and mainstream. Founded in 2020 during the first week of the global coronavirus pandemic with a stylish collection of latex facemasks that became popular on all continents. Kirsten Vaams sells besides face masks also swimwear, outwear with inner fabric lining, haute couture red carpet dresses and last but not least, a festival club wear collection. I think I should win this award for doing it differently; I combine latex with other materials, I push boundaries and I think out of the box; I know that latex is the material of the future and I am definitely going to make it mainstream and break the taboo that latex is only for people with fetish. My best achievement was a fashion show for 20,000 people at Erotický Veletrh in 2022 and interviews in the magazines Ekonom, My Kink, and LTX. Article about the KV Fashion Show in Metro Prague newspaper was the most read article in 2021.
