Established in 1999, Birmingham Bizarre Bazaar (BBB) has been bringing together Birmingham’s fetish and alternative community for over 27 years, making it one of the longest-running events of its kind in the UK. Held monthly in the heart of Birmingham’s Gay Village, BBB is much more than a fetish market. Across three floors, we bring together an incredible mix of independent traders, makers and creators alongside live performances, fashion shows, demonstrations, education and community organisations. At the heart of BBB has always been community. We aim to provide a welcoming, inclusive and accessible space where newcomers can take their first steps into the scene, established kinksters can reconnect with friends, and independent fetish businesses, performers and educators can showcase what they do. Over more than two decades, BBB has continued to evolve while remaining true to what made it special in the first place: bringing people together. Generations of the fetish community have walked through our doors to shop, socialise, learn, discover and connect. We’re incredibly proud of BBB’s history, but even prouder that it continues to grow and evolve today. Established in 1999, built by the community and still going strong — BBB is a little piece of Birmingham fetish history that continues to create its future every single month.
